A Virtual Conference Production Company
Founded in San Francisco in 2010, Repertoire Productions began by producing the first-ever TEDx Event (TEDxSF). Since then RP has produced countless Virtual Conferences & Livestreams for many of the world’s greatest brands.
What have we learned producing thousands of livestreams, events, and 27 TEDx events? And, how can our work pioneering TEDx production be used to produce a more compelling and engaging virtual conference? We’ve found that, while a TEDx live audience is usually limited to about 1,500, the videos can scale infinitely (and generally live forever). We’ve reached over 1B people with TEDx content that we’ve produced. Here’s the skinny, getting a TEDx video featured on TED.com exponentially increases the talk’s, viewership, credibility and reach. Boom. But TED will not feature a TEDx video on TED.com, unless the video quality is good.

The Juicy Gossip about Virtual Conference Production
Everyone and their mother is now claiming to be a virtual conference production company. More on THAT juicy business in a second.
Reach out to us and we’ll give you the full guide to what you need to know about producing virtual conferences. All that we ask in return for this valuable information is for you to ask the question, “How did Repertoire Productions learn all of this cool stuff about producing virtual conferences?” The answer is, Repertoire Productions is a Virtual Conference Production Company.
Back to the juicy gossip. If anyone asks, you didn’t get this from us. Okay? Verbal NDA? Pinky Swear? So here’s the thing, we’ve been seeing a lot of email mailers (spam) coming from companies who’ve never produced a livestream, let alone a virtual conference. Here’s how it always starts. Subject: Let us delight your attendees with your next virtual conference! This leaves us thinking, really? A stage fabrication company is suddenly producing virtual conferences? Wait, a furniture rental company is now doing virtual production? Hold on, a lighting company is suddenly your go to for video production, encoding, scaling, lower thirds, motion graphics, streaming, bandwidth, IT security, virtual platform selection and producing video for executives? Yikes. This is like Old Navy announcing, “Okay, we’re Gucci now… the Gucci of Cars. Yeah, we’re making cars now, watch out Ferrari.”
Now here’s the Juicy part. We’re literally hearing HORROR stories from our subcontractors that get stuck on these painful productions. Eat your heart out, Stephen King. These are the real scenarios that keep planners/producers up at night.
Is this fear-based marketing? Well, maybe a little. Okay, a lot. But it’s completely honest. And, we’re also using a Juicy Pear Jelly Bean analogy. And we just named our office puppy Teddy Bear, after the teddy bear in the windows thing happening all over the city…
Okay, back to the brass tax. It’s way better to hire a company with a decade of evolving experience that actually understands how all of the hundreds of technical elements work together. Why not hire a company with a 4K studio and the millions of dollars of specialized equipment that is required to do this right. You don’t have to hire Repertoire to be your Yoda. But we sure would love to hear about your project. And we’d love to see if we could collaborate together, and make this journey a fun one.
