The high costs of quality lighting and building custom sets led us to pose the ridiculously intelligent question, “why don’t we build a video studio rental that you can dial in a color scheme on an iPad, put logos and branded graphics on built in UHD LED wall?”
We could dial in the audio perfectly, install ridiculously fast internet, and state of the art encoders. We could cut out the most expensive elements of producing beautiful livestreams and branded content, and produce higher quality video, for literally a third of the cost. That really got us thinking, “Is it lunchtime?” So we ate lunch and got to work. Now it’s done, and our current clients are stoked & now we want to offer our video studio rental to you & your team.

Our video studio rental is Jimmy Fallon’s set meets Sports Center’s set, but customized for your brand. Producing beautiful video requires 4 elements. 1)high-quality camera equipment, 2) awesome Lenses, 3) a cinematic lighting package and 4) and a beautiful set. In our experience of producing thousands of live and VOD videos, we’ve found that the lighting and scenic that often get overlooked.
Renting a nice camera/lens package is cheap. But, renting a 2 ton a grip truck and lighting package is expensive. Setting those lights up is more expensive. And Designing/building a high-quality custom set is even more expensive. So these very essential elements end up getting cut in the budget process. That’s why we built a beautiful video studio rental that’s influenced by the latest silicon valley design trends. We can swap out the backdrop with just a few digital files.
The short answer, no, a video studio rental isn’t for everyone.
Based on our Silicon Valley client’s needs for the last decade, we wanted to build a video studio rental that would be perfect for our projects. Our video studio rental is PERFECT for fireside chats, talk shows, product launches, virtual conferences, educational videos, internal communications, product demos, software tutorials/learning programs.
Our video studio rental is NOT set up to do a green screen. Green screens are cheesy (unless you’re making a blockbuster & have big $$$ for CGI). For everything else, you can walk into our socially isolated studio, put on your sanitized mic & go. It’s already set up, so you save an unbelievable amount of labor for setting up lights, cameras, sound, & designing/building a backdrop.
On average, a simple custom backdrop setup costs over $20,000 once you factor in, design, build, shipping, setup, breakdown, and recycling/waste removal.
