Sound Stage & Production Studio Coming Soon
There’s an incredible number of perks to working in a sound stage or production studio. At Repertoire, we absolutely adore the opportunity to work in sound stages & studios and greatly appreciate the flexibility and ease of use they present when producing audio and video content. So much so we decided to build our own.
Whether you’re looking to produce a live stream, record interviews, host a company meeting & everything in between, it’s almost always beneficial to have the control of a studio. The benefits to using a sound stage count up quickly. We’re able to take advantage of, a controlled environment for lighting & sound, a warehouse of production equipment, minimal set up, & strike responsibility, & one less vendor for you, the client, to deal with.

Controlled Environments for Audio, Video & Lighting

Having a controlled environment for Lighting, Audio, Video and more is extraordinarily helpful when working in production. We decided to break down some of these details bellow…
- Audio – A sound stage has the benefit of being designed with Audio Production in mind. Rooms designated for recording are sound proof and are free from devices that create a great deal of white noise, such as AC, computers and other appliances. Clean audio is paramount for good production.
- Video – Production studios have the benefit of set design, unlike real offices and rooms, this space is designed with 3 walls, allowing for ample camera movement.
- Lighting – Falling under video in part, lighting in a production studio is incredibly easier. Lighting a set in a controlled environment, without natural light from windows, allows for much more control in creativity.
- Tallent – A perk many offices lack is a green room. It’s important to have a comfortable place for your talent to get ready, change and possibly apply makeup. An often forgotten element, most often noticed by those on camera.
One thing to note would be scenic and set design. A perk to recording on site vs a production studio is ability to utilize scenic elements and set design from elements that already exist in accessible locations, as opposed to needing to design and build. A similar argument could be made for spatial flexibility in studio, ultimately this case comes down to situational need.
Ease of Operation

Setting up for your next company meeting or product launch doesn’t need to be a long strenuous process. In your office this typical 1-2 hour event entails set up the day prior, equipment testing in your workspace, freight coming in and out of the building, tons of communications with facilities/IT and additional bandwidth from your events lead, that they simply don’t have. We’re here to tell you, it doesn’t need to be this difficult, and are happy to show you the way.
Having your meeting, announcement or product launch at a production sound stage alleviates nearly all of those issues. At our studio we have complete control over our internet and IT systems, audio/video equipment fully dialed and pristine set and stage design. Come into our facilities with your team as little as an hour before showtime relaxed, knowing that Repertoire has everything covered for your big event.

Endless Equipment Oprotunities
Endless Equipment Oprotunities

As a technical producer, one concern that I have almost every event is, “Did I bring enough gear and equipment? Do I have everything I need?” Thankfully, we’ve been working in live event and video productions for a few years at Repertoire to plan accordingly, but last minute requests do happen. It’s quite often when on set that a realization will be made, we need this piece of equipment and we don’t have it. Naturally, a truck will need to be sent from our warehouse and hours lost, hours we don’t always have.
Working in our production studio gives us the added perk of having our entire production inventory at our fingertips right next door. When the lease was available we jumped on the opportunity to snag the space next door and expand with our sister company, AVSuperfly, and construct our sound stage right next door. Additional cameras, mics, tricasters, lighting, and more; you name it we’ve got it in large supply nearby.
