SFJAZZ Center: custom stage design and fabrication
For an event at the SFJAZZ Center we pre-visualized the show in 3D, then custom-fabricated more than 20 stage pieces to fit the venue's unique stage configuration.

The brief
The event needed to look and sound better than previous years and feel fresh, on a stage configured unlike any standard ballroom.
What we did
We used 3D design software to create CAD stage renderings, so the client could see exactly what the event would look like before load-in.
- Custom-fabricated more than 20 stage pieces and installed clean new carpeting fitted to the stage.
- Sourced the best printed banners, with our creative director personally examining test materials to choose the right one for the room.
