Video Director
Video Director
Conducting a Visual Symphony
The Video Director manages on-screen graphics and presentation media, live-switching between cameras, deploying lower-third graphics overlays (such as the name or title of a person speaking), and transitions to video and images, all with zero on-air mistakes. This is an absolute must!
Repertoire requires that its video directors have intimate knowledge of all systems they control, from individual camera operator skills to the technical specs on every single media asset, a skilled VD is an absolute must. Without one, well, there’s no guarantee of how successful your live event is going to be.
