We’re Not just a Staging Company
Creative pre-visualization of stage design is key to coordinating teams on big projects. Your event needs to look and sound better than previous events, and stay fresh with modern expectations. At Repertoire, we use 3D design software to create CAD stage renderings so you can understand exactly what the event entails. On a recent event at SFJazz, we custom fabricated more than 20 different stage pieces and installed crisp clean carpeting on the venue’s unique stage configuration.
We also hunted down the best sources for printed banners, and our creative director personally examined test materials to select the best type for the event. These methodical and detail-oriented steps are part of good design, and the remaining part is having an in-depth understanding of real production techniques. While developing a vision for the stage, we can virtually build the stage using common materials and create a shopping list right from the design. Live Event AV Production
Filming a live event is a radically different and exciting way of thinking about video capture and av production. The moment only happens once, and if you’re going to be ready for them you’ll need the best camera operators and a capable technical director managing the technological symphony that can be recorded, live stream, a broadcast event, sent to the projection screens, or all of the above.
With our knowledge of live video, we bootstrapped our way into owning a warehouse filled with millions of dollars of 4K and HD video equipment that captures stunning images. These cameras are placed on our buttery smooth fluid-head tripod and skilled operators follow the action of even the most demanding presenters. That video will be captured in ProRes (high data post-production codec) media and sent to our multi-camera switching solutions for use as a live cut program record and live stream. A Touching Moment Inspired by Event Design
Repertoire recently worked with a client that wanted to bring their annual keynote conference to the next level. The year previous, this client worked with the in house hotel AV team. The CEO literally said, that last year’s PA system, “looked like something at my son’s Bar Mitzvah.” This is how they came to contact us. We designed a color adjustable backlit stage for this client with about 10 rounds of edits.
The PA was fit for a king. When the CEO walked into the room with his wife, they saw the set and gave each other a hug. We realize how important it is to impress your audience and bring value to our clients. Our clients pay our bills, and it’s really touching for us that we could design and build an event for them that brought them such relief, and joy. What does Repertoire Productions do?
Repertoire Productions is a full-service audio visual and video production company in South San Francisco. We produce live events, live streams, LED video walls, multi-camera video, stage and lighting design, projection mapping and corporate video for clients across the Bay Area.
What areas do you serve?
We serve San Francisco, San Jose, Silicon Valley, Oakland and the wider Bay Area, and we travel for events, such as GameSpot's booth and livestream at E3 in Los Angeles.
What kinds of events do you produce?
Corporate meetings and all-hands, conferences and summits, keynotes and product launches, TED and TEDx events (27 to date), galas, concerts, and virtual or hybrid events.
Do you own your equipment?
Yes. We keep a warehouse of 4K and HD cameras, switchers, LED wall panels, lighting and audio gear, so we are not dependent on rental houses and can scale crews and equipment to the event.
Can you provide LED video walls for an event?
Yes. We supply and run LED video walls with our own crew, and plan each wall around weight, power and resolution with the venue. For JFrog's swampUP conference we replaced three projection screens with three LED walls.
Can you live stream our event?
Yes. We produce multi-camera live streams with multi-bitrate encoding to YouTube, Facebook and other platforms, for audiences in the room and online at the same time.
Do you have a studio we can book?
Yes. Our sound stage in South San Francisco has a built-in UHD LED wall backdrop, controlled lighting and audio, fast internet with broadcast encoders, and a green room for live streams, interviews and company meetings.
